The firm was founded in 1981 by the Destin Real Estate pioneer, Dewitt "Sparky" Lovelace. Clayton Bonjean joined Mainsail Realty as an agent in 1998 and became the Broker/Owner in 2011.
Clayton Bonjean created this web site with one main goal; to offer The Best Emerald Coast Real Estate Search on the web. He has spent hundreds of hours working hard to make your real estate search experience as easy as possible. The links on this site provide every listing from every agent; you will also notice that there are no requirements for your personal info to search. Anyone can use this site, even if you are working with another agent or just looking.
"Most Real Estate web sites make it difficult for the client and require a lot of personal info just to search homes; I like all of the traffic to my site and it keeps me very busy. If you are 2 or 3 years out, feel free to search and get comfortable with the market, but please consider me when you are ready to buy or sell your next home." Clayton Bonjean, Broker - Owner
Clayton received a degree in Marketing from the University of Mississippi "Ole Miss" and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After schooling, he worked as an Account Executive, Director of Sales, and Operations Manager for Checkcare Systems in Birmingham, Alabama. In 1997, Clayton moved to Destin Florida to manage the family business, Lovelace Interiors. In 1998 he received his Real Estate License and has been involved in many successful Real Estate transactions. Clayton is a top producer in Okaloosa and Walton Counties and is currently performing in the top 1% of all Emerald Coast Realtors. Clayton has successfully closed over 500 real estate transactions.
Clayton is the broker and owner, but unlike most, he likes to get out into the field and work with buyers and sellers. Clayton loves the Real Estate business and is not afraid to work very hard for his clients.
